THE LANGHAM, XINTIANDI, SHANGHAI APPOINTS MR ANDREW DARTNELL AS HOTEL MANAGER

The Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai has appointed Andrew Dartnell to the position of Hotel Manager. His new role with The Langham Xintiandi will see him taking up his first hotel management role in mainland China and in his capacity as Hotel Manager he will oversee the hotel operations including rooms, front office, food and beverage and Chuan Spa.
Andrew joins The Langham Xintiandi with more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. He previous role was with sister hotel The Langham Melbourne, where he spent the last two years contributing to the overall success of the hotel and firmly positioning it as one of the best in the luxury hotel market in Melbourne, including being listed No 1 on Trip Advisor in 2012.
His past experience includes six years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, serving as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, Saudi Arabia. In this role, Andrew achieved great success, with the hotel being awarded Best Business Hotel in Riyadh in both 2008 and 2009.
Andrew brings a strong business and management background to The Langham Xintiandi as well as extensive experience and qualifications in food and beverage. Andrew held the role of opening Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha, Qatar and has previously held Food and Beverage roles at The InterContinental Singapore, The Park Hyatt Sydney, The Langham, Hong Kong and Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
