THE LANGHAM, XINTIANDI PRESENTS T'ANG COURT, THE SIGNATURE CHINESE RESTAURANT

Helmed by Chinese executive chef Tony Su from Shanghai, China, T'ang Court with its reputation for offering the finest Cantonese cuisine will serve a wide selection of authentic Cantonese culinary masterpieces, some of which has won numerous international culinary acclaim over the years, namely the Michelin star award by the reputable Michelin Guide, Hong Kong.

Among the renowned delicacies are stir-fried lobster with spring onion, red onion and shallots, and sautéed prawns and crab roe in golden-fried pork and crab meat puffs, both awarded by Hong Kong Tourism Board's "Best of the Best Culinary Awards" in 2002 and 2001 respectively.

"Food is a work of art. The use of the freshest ingredients combined with detailed preparation of each dish are key to creating the distinction that our customers would return for." says Chef Su, who brings more than 20 years experience and his local knowledge of Cantonese and Shanghainese cuisines in all of his menus and specialty dishes. In collaboration with two-time gold medal winner Chef Kwong Wai Keung from The Langham, Hong Kong, Chef Su has redeveloped the T'ang Court signature menu in Shanghai that will further enhance The Langham, Xintiandi's positioning in culinary excellence.

Combining an exquisite design, attentive service and exciting flavours, the restaurant has its dining space converted to a grand private dining room that comfortably accommodates up to six 10-seater dining tables, suitable for high-powered meetings, lunches and dinners and exclusive banquets, and is versatile to be partitioned into three dining rooms.

Inspired by the strongest and most prosperous era in Chinese history, The Tang Dynasty, T'ang Court is designed to offer the finest and authentic taste of Cantonese cuisine, and to present a very simple philosophy behind it, which is staying on with timeless elegancy and taste to resonate with The Langham's heritage in sophisticated lifestyle.

T'ang Court in The Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai is open from Monday to Friday, from 11:30am to 2:00pm and 5:30pm to 10:00pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 2:30pm and 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Located on Level 5, the restaurant features nine private dining rooms and premium à la carte area that provide an intimate and inviting setting suitable for business meetings and social gatherings.
